Geriatrics and Aftercare Department

OGNP provides medical, nursing and rehabilitation care. We admit patients mostly over 65 years of age, mainly from the acute departments of Jihlava Hospital.

We treat long-term chronic diseases leading to loss of self-sufficiency and provide comprehensive rehabilitation treatment to older patients after injuries, with musculoskeletal disorders, after orthopaedic surgery or after strokes. Patients can take part in occupational therapy twice a day. We place great emphasis on geriatric rehabilitation and patient activation.

OGNP includes a palliative care unit, which provides comprehensive care to patients at the end of life. Our team also includes volunteers.
