Gynaecology and Obstetric department of Hospital Jihlava provides the state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic care for women with gynaecological diseases and pregnant women, including antenatal care, labour management and postnatal care.

In addition to the general clinic, specialized clinics including ultrasound, indication, oncogynaecology, urogynaecology, pediatric outpatient clinic and adolescent gynaecology are available to patients. Pregnant women are overseen in the outpatient clinic for the high-risk pregnancies, the check-up is made for them before their transfer to the care of their gynaecologist, they can consult the birth plan, antend courses, there is an option to be in the individual care provided by a midwife, and there are other services.

Our delivery rooms are modern, but at the same time very pleasantly equipped in the modern trend of the "home delivery room". During the antenatal care, during the birth and during the postnatal care, we emphasize respecting the wishes of the client, the comfort of the parent couple and ensuring the safety of the baby and the mother. We perform all gynecologic surgeries, including minor gynecologic procedures, vaginally guided procedures, laparotomy and laparoscopic surgery. In 2023, we started performing robotic surgery on the modern Da Vinci Xi machine.

Patients can use the one-day surgical care for minor procedures. We are an accredited Oncogynaecology Center that provides comprehensive oncogynaecology care including diagnostics and surgeries. We organize nation-wide professional conferences in urogynaecology, oncogynaecology, perinatology care and midwifery conferences. Our physicians and nurses publish in scholar journals, books and textbooks.

We cooperate with the College of Polytechnics in Jihlava, where we stand as guarantors and teachers in the fields of General Nursing and Midwifery, we also cooperate with the medical-education facilities in Jihlava.
