Information on a whistleblower protection

Based on the current wording of the Whistleblower Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Act"), which was issued in connection with the Directive of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) on the protection of persons who report infringements of EU law, the Hospital Jihlava as an obliged entity has, among others, the following obligations. Hospital Jihlava, as the notifying body, is obliged to designate a competent person and to establish an internal notification system (hereinafter referred to as the "ISS") for receiving notifications, to set rules for the methods of notification, the actual handling of the notification, to ensure the protection of the identity of the notifier and other persons, the protection of the information contained in the notification and communication with the notifier. At the same time, the Hospital Jihlava is obliged to ensure the publication of this information in a manner allowing for remote access.

Hospital Jihlava p.o. has the relevant whistleblower protection procedures regulated in a separate governing document.

 

Competent person

Bc. Pohanková Jana is designated as the competent person by the Hospital Jihlava for receiving and handling notifications within the meaning of Section 9(1) of the Act
