Accredited qualification courses
Completion of an accredited qualification course confers competence to perform the relevant health profession in accordance with Act No 201/2017 Coll., on non-medical health professions, as amended.

We are now accepting applications for the spring course Sanitář 2026 as alternates. The course will start on March 17, 2026.
Certified courses
The certified course is conducted by an accredited facility that has been granted or extended accreditation by the Ministry of Health.
The certified course provides health professionals or other professional staff with specific professional competence for narrowly defined health activities that enhance their acquired professional or specialised competence. A certificate course cannot replace the acquisition of professional or specialised competence to practise a health profession.

Specialist training
Specialisation training (hereinafter referred to as ST) is one of the forms of lifelong learning provided for in Sections 53 - 54 of Act No.96/2004 Coll., the Act on Non-Medical Health Professions, as amended (hereinafter referred to as "Act No.96/2004 Coll.").
The purpose of the ST of health professionals and other professional staff is to obtain specialised competence to perform specialised activities of the relevant health profession according to § 54 - 164, Decree No. 55/2011 Coll., on the activities of health professionals and other professional staff.
Hospital Jihlava has received accreditation to carry out specialisation training of the practical part in the fields that can be found in the appendix.

Studying at the College of Polytechnic in Jihlava
The College of Polytechnics in Jihlava offers three-year bachelor's degree programs to applicants with a high school diploma. Successful graduates receive a bachelor's degree (Bc.).
General nursing
The General Nursing study program provides practical bachelor's degree education for subsequent practice of the healthcare profession without professional supervision. It is designed in accordance with Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications in the provision of services and provides graduates with the basic prerequisites for practicing a regulated profession within the European Union. Midwifery
The Midwifery study program provides practical bachelor's degree education in the field of midwifery. It is designed in accordance with Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications in the provision of services and provides graduates with the basic prerequisites for practicing a regulated profession within the EU. The program is offered only in full-time form and includes 57 weeks of practical training as an integral part.
