From 22 September, Jihlava Hospital is offering vaccination against COVID-19. The current Comirnaty XFG vaccine will be available. Vaccinations will take place every Tuesday at the hospital's infectious diseases outpatient clinic.
The vaccination point will be open every Tuesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Priority will be given to those who book in advance by phone on 567 157 242. Telephone booking is available on weekdays from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
Jihlava Hospital will be using the Comirnaty XFG vaccine, which has been adapted to the currently circulating variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Vaccination helps above all to reduce the risk of severe illness and its complications.
"Vaccination against COVID-19 is still important, especially for older people, the chronically ill and people with weakened immunity, who are at higher risk of severe illness. We therefore particularly recommend that at-risk patients take the opportunity to get vaccinated," says the Head of the Infectious Diseases Department of Jihlava Hospital, MUDr. Romana Kumštarová.
